Our school honored Memorial Day with our annual flag ceremony, joined by our incredible Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, who proudly carried and placed our flag. Together, we laid flowers beneath it in tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. 🇺🇸❤️








A special surprise made our Cultural Celebration even more unforgettable.. a Bollywood dancer joined us for the night and had our students and families learning some moves! 💃🎶










What an incredible night at our Cultural Celebration! Seeing Blythe Park families come together to share their cultures, traditions, and heritage reminded us just how beautifully diverse and special our school community truly is. Every story, every dish, every tradition shared made our school feel even more like home. From tiny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies, Mrs. Callahan’s first graders have been watching nature’s magic unfold right in their classroom! Today, they released their Painted Lady butterflies into the Blythe Park garden!! 🦋🌸

Meet our new Blythe Park Principal, Chris Reid, at a community coffee event. Blythe families are invited to chat and connect with Mr. Reid on Monday, May 18, 8:15 am-9:00 am, in the Blythe Library. Visitors must check in at the main door with an ID.
Mr. Reid joins us from Hinsdale District 181 where he served for 8 years as a pupil services administrator. The interview team was most impressed with his warm and welcoming demeanor and his strong commitment to student centered learning and a positive school culture for all.

What an amazing All School Meeting! 🎉 We celebrated our Perseverance Award winners and cheered on a Student Council skit all about the power of trying again. As we head into our final month, we’re shifting our focus to gratitude! We are grateful for the friendships made, the lessons learned, and the incredible year we’ve shared together!

High Touch, High Tech workshops were so much fun! From slime, to rocks, and chemical reactions, these scientists had a blast with hands on learning! 🧪🔬










Spring Open House was a huge success!Seeing our community show up to celebrate our students’ hard work means the world. Thank you to everyone who came out! We also had so much fun watching the annual 5th grade Tug of War! To our fifth graders… we can’t believe you’re almost off to Hauser. We are so proud of you! 😊🌸
